Accepting, like an oyster is when a pearl is created… a tiny piece of sand or dirt becomes an irritant inside an oyster’s shell, so begins the process of covering that irritant with it’s love nacre, and over time, that irritant forms into a luminous pearl. A pearl is a true gift born out of patience mixed with love.

In many cultures, a white pearl symbolize wisdom learned through experiences.  In Christianity, pearls are associated with the glory of God and gates of heaven. I often imagined that pearls were shed from mermaid tears…
