In 2023, launched new interactive LIVE virtual dolphin retreats! Writing away on a special book project, Why the Whales Sing, a full-color 132+ page book, ebook, and audio book that’s a follow-up to Dolphin Talk. To be a part of this publishing process, please visit: https://www.patreon.com/TheDolphinSmile. This new publication is being filled with additional scientific discoveries about cetacean communications spanning the past 40 years, as well as relatable stories and wildlife experiences. Important: this is the first time that the cognitive communications and acoustic sciences will be published together, sharing how vital these varying components are in our everyday lives.

It all started when…

a humpback whale song touched her soul.

Dove Joans, aka "Dolphingirl" has spent her lifetime "cracking the dolphin code" through the cognitive sciences, marine biology, the arts, storytelling, animal behavioral work, acting, the healing arts, as well as wildlife experiences out in Nature.
Over 40+ years, her investigative research into wild dolphin communications has discovered what she’s coined, The Dolphin Memory Movement from empirical evidence.
Her passions include mermaid swimming, animal whispering, sharing stories of connections, and embracing the arts! Published Dolphin Talk in 2014, We are the Ocean in 2017, with books and a film series in development, I am Dolphin.

As an advocate and voice for animals, cultural heritage, and Nature, Dove creates numerous public service announcements, and a short documentary film, We are Water Spirit, officially selected in the 2013 Nashville Film Festival and a finalist in Flickerfest’s Byron All Shorts, part of the biggest short film festival in the world.
Nominated as a member into The Explorers Club for her work with the cognitive sciences of dolphin communications and planetary advocacy has taken Dove across the seas; working alongside Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society, Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project, The Dream Foundation, Saddle Up!, a therapeutic riding program for challenged children and horses, as well as animal rescues of the Audubon's "Eyes in the Skies" with wild birds of prey, and the Santa Barbara's Marine Mammal Center, a rescue and release program for injured sea mammals.

Contact Dolphingirl to be a keynote speaker at your next event, sharing interactive "Dolphin Talks” that highlight the secret powers behind animal communications for our everyday lives!

OUR  Aquatic Affair

"You know me... since time began, we have been connected.

Formed together in the womb of life through intricate patterns of designs, like ripples across the oceans.

I felt your 1st breath and carried that gentle whisper across our linked memories. Stars and galaxies exploded to celebrate our miraculous union… and our very first tear fell like a early morning raindrop across the southern skies.

Small, yet mighty... we were beginning to make waves.

Now, you may wonder what does this all mean?

Our aquatic affair. This divine design was not by chance.

We are in everything that breathes life. Water is you, me, and we... creating our divine history.

Now, these secrets continuously reveal themselves in our cells, memories, and DNA for eternity. Trillions of stories touching our lives and reminding ourselves who we really are. An Aboriginal Australian would say, “We are Water Spirit,” and peace would return back to our lands, harmony buzzing between our hands. Like a bee pollinating nearly 90% of our Earth’s plant species with an invisible treaty of love. A sacred promise of geometric designs, amazingly sublime.

So, be encouraged. Embrace your fears by bringing a sense of buoyancy back into your heart. It's a good place to start."

Ocean love, Dolphingirl Dove
